This is neither a joke (although it could be) nor a photomontage; It's an "authentic" fake Christmas ATM stamp ... and its comes from Catalunya !! It has been used on a cover like a franking ATM in December 2002 between two capitals of province. The ATM is a great work of the author and the postal falsification has happened without a doubt totally unnoticed through the postal services.

Again on Christmas days, we show the 2nd FAKE Christmas ATM stamp. It seems to be a unique postal piece from the anonymous author, and it was posted and circulated in December 2003.

Like a yearly tradition, also on Christmas 2004 we received a new FAKE Catalan Christmas ATM. And like every year, no information about the sender. The postal piece was circulated from Barcelona in December 2004.

In the year of the postal liberalization in Spain, the Serveis Postals Catalans (Catalan Post Services - a non-real postal operator) meets its 10th anniversary with a new Christmas 2011 fake issue. The anonymous letter, mailed to our postal address in December 2011, wish us a Merry Christmas with sympathy and humour.

The last christmas issue of Serveis Postals Catalans (Catalan Post Services - a non-real postal operator), the 11th apocryphal stamp, arrived on December 2012. Inside the envelope, an anonymous note announces the end of these annual issues. Perhaps very soon, the stamps of the Serveis Postals Catalans will be no more a joke to wish a happy holidays, and the new stamps -with a real postal validity- will announce the creation of the new Catalan postal administration.

VERY IMPORTANT. ATEEME have no information about the origin of these postal pieces. Although we give our total support to all the initiatives to reach that the Spanish Postal Services - Correos admit once and for all that Spain is a State consisting of several nationalities, issuing stamps including all the languages of the State, and despite the curiosity of these postal pieces, from our Web site we don't want to foment neither support the manufacture of fake ATMs, which is a fraud to Correos.
