Félix
Rodríguez de la Fuente has been, without any doubt, one of the
biggest lovers of nature in Spain.
Know as "the friend of
the animals", Félix Rodríguez studied Medicine and specialized
in Dentistry, but all his life was devoted to the study of animals. He
was the author of many newspaper articles and collaborated to several TV
series dedicated to fauna and animal life. His TV programmes named Fauna,
Vida
salvaje ( Wild life ), Planeta azul ( The blue planet ) and
El
hombre y la tierra ( Man and earth ) reached the highest rates
of audience.
He was born in 1928 in Poza
de la Sal ( Burgos ) and in 1980, while he was filming a TV series about
"Dogs of the world", his light aircraft had an accident and he died.
