Founded by the English colony
of Barcelona in April 1899 with the name of Barcelona
Lawn Tennis Club, it was the first tennis club of the Spanish State.
The first president was the English consul Mr. J. F. Rocaberts.
The present equipment are
in Pedralbes, Barcelona, and every year they welcome important international
matches, like the "Comte de Godó".
