|
The
Nimbus
Motorcycle where made by Danish Company A/S Fisker & Nielsen.
The idea and the design were from Mr. Peder Andersen Fisker.
The first Nimbus was
presented to the public on the 20th of April 1919 ; it was a four
cylinder in line motor on 746 cc. and very soon got the nickname "Stovepipe"
for its cylinder formed petrol tank. |
|
|
A
new model called C was presented in 1934, it was very different
than previous one. The new Nimbus had a four cylinder, in line motor
but this time with top valve and over head cam. It was also the first motorcycle
with telescopic front fork.
