New ATM issue included
in the vintage car series, the great Hispano Suiza 20-30 HP.
|
This
vehicle was manufactured from 1908, with a chassis similar to the
model 20-24 HP of 1906. Also the 4 cylinders engine is a
evolution of the previous model.
The car that illustrates
the issue was acquired in 1910 by Marquis de Zayas,
of Granada, and was circulating until 1931 with the GR-60
matriculation. |
|
|
This
is the 2nd. ATM issue with a Hispano Suiza model; the previous
one (2001) was the Hispano Suiza T.
Also in 2003 the same
car model has appeared in another philatelic issue in Spain, included
in the souvenir-sheet commemorating the Centenary of the foundation of
the Real Automovil Club de España (RACE). |
